Factores motivantes en la selección de tú explícito/tácito en el español mexicano de Atlanta, EE.UU

Conversational corpus data from Mexican Spanish in Atlanta, Georgia are employed to examine tokens of second-person singular SPE (n=478) terms frequency and constraints, incorporating factors such as TMA, switch reference, specificity logistic regression analyses. Results suggest that tu, like other subjects, is strongly impacted by reference tense-mood-aspect (TMA). However, the TMA effect unique imperfect aspect shown disfavor overt tu relative TMAs, diverging previous studies. Furthermore, —a factor found be repeatedly significant literature— inoperative, suggesting behaves differently this dialect regarding its sensitivity linguistic factors.
